What the app accesses

To show the project context you need, Misprompt may read the frontmost application and window title on your Mac after you grant macOS Accessibility permission.

How that information is used

This information is processed locally and only to provide the app’s core features, such as identifying the active editor or project. It is not sent to us or any third party.

What we do not collect

  • Prompts or message content
  • Source code or project files
  • Window screenshots or recordings
  • Names, email addresses, or account details
  • Usage analytics, identifiers, or precise location

Local preferences

The app may keep its settings on your Mac so your preferences work as expected. The website may use your browser’s local storage only to remember your language choice. Neither is sent to us.

Third-party services

Misprompt does not use third-party analytics or advertising services. If you purchase the app through Apple, Apple handles the transaction under Apple’s own privacy policy. Misprompt does not receive your payment details.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated before those changes take effect. The “Last updated” date above indicates the latest revision.
